Night Manager Hotel

I have a fantastic opportunity for a talented and experienced individual to join my client’s luxury hotel as a ‘Night Manager’.

This is a unique opportunity for a responsible Manager to work on a four Night shifts on and four Night shifts off basis. Working for eleven hours, each shift. This offers a real work life balance opportunity, rarely found in such a role.

The Night Manager is responsible for ensuring the smooth operational running of the whole hotel throughout the night. You will work with and manage the nights’ team and act as the Manager on Duty for the hotel during the night shift and be a point of contact for any issues or guest enquiries should they come up.

The main responsibilities of the Night Manager include:

• Oversee the smooth operational running of the hotel throughout the evening.
• To act as a manager on duty for the hotel and to deal with and resolve any complaints, problems, disturbances, special requests, or any other enquiries.
• Ensure the continuous delivery of high standards of service during the night, all areas
• Have a complete understanding of budget and targets for your department and ensure the entire team are working hard to achieve them.
• Be responsible for ensuring that guest profiles are up to date and room allocation is in line with hotel strategy
• Ensure the Night Audit is completed and delivered accurately to the Finance Department
• Ensure all Nights team are aware of the Hotel Fire, Health & Safety procedures during the night.
• To work with Night Security Officer, ensuring the security of the building throughout the Night shift
• To be comfortable working evenings and to manage all those working the night shift ensuring all team members complete tasks assigned to them.

The Ideal Night Manager Candidate must have a minimum of two years of Assistant management experience in similar role in a hotel operation.

Knowledge of Opera and Micros preferred.
