An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a leading accountancy firm as a Corporate Tax Senior in their Liverpool office.

With a growing national presence and a collaborative, high-performing tax team, the firm provides a first-class service to a diverse client base, including UK and international corporate groups, SMEs, and entrepreneurial businesses.

Your new role:

  • Prepare corporation tax computations and returns for a varied portfolio of UK and overseas corporate clients.
  • Advise clients on tax liabilities and payment schedules.
  • Prepare tax disclosures for statutory accounts and assist with R&D claims and capital allowances projects.
  • Manage HMRC correspondence and client queries and conduct technical research into specialist areas of corporate tax.

What you'll need to succeed:

  • 3-4 years' experience in UK corporate tax compliance and advisory.
  • Strong understanding of company accounts and tax computations.
  • ATT-qualified or part-qualified ACA/ACCA/CTA (study support available).
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Self-motivated, with strong time management and organisational abilities.
  • A team player with a desire to grow and share knowledge.
