Financial Accountant | Liverpool | £40,000-45,000 | Temporary to permanent
We are working with a reputable and well recognised business based in Liverpool to recruit a Financial Accountant on a temp to perm basis.
As Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for:
- Preparing and reviewing monthly financial statements
- Managing month end and year end close processes
- Assisting with statutory accounts preparation and liaising with auditors
- Ensuring compliance with UK GAAP/IFRS and internal controls
- Assisting with tax and VAT returns
- Driving improvements in financial processes and reporting
What are we looking for?
- Someone who is available immediately or on a short notice period
- Part / fully qualified or qualified by experience
- Strong technical financial accounting background
- Experience with reconciliations, VAT and audit are key
- Analytical mind set and attention to detail
- Able to work in a deadline driven environment
