Client Details

Management Accountant opportunity working within the education sector in Liverpool. As part of this role you will join a small finance team who are part of a larger and growing organisation with exciting plans on the horizon.

To be successful in the role you will have relevant and up to date experience in Management Accounts. If you have worked within the education or not for profit sector before this would be an added bonus.

Description

Duties and tasks of the Management Accountant:

  • Assisting with preparation and coordination of the audit process
  • Preparing financial reports and submitting them to relevant personnel
  • Budget and forecast preparation
  • Ensuring legal and regulatory compliance in all accounting and financial functions
  • Managing day-to-day transactions
  • Recording office expenditures and ensuring these expenses are within the set budget
  • Assisting in the preparation of annual accounts and financial statements
  • Performing other related duties as required

Profile

Experience required as the Management Accountant:

  • Qualified to a senior accounting level (CIMA/ACCA/AAT)
  • Proficiency in relevant financial software
  • Strong financial and accounting knowledge
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
