Are you a private client tax specialist with trust experience, looking to take the next step in your career? We're recruiting on behalf of a leading professional services firm in Liverpool, looking to appoint a Private Client Tax Senior or Assistant Manager to join their dynamic and growing tax team.

The Role:

You'll work closely with the Tax Manager and wider team to manage a varied portfolio of private clients, high-net-worth individuals, trusts, and estates. Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing personal tax and trust returns, ensuring compliance and timely submissions

  • Liaising with HMRC, clients, and third parties

  • Providing proactive advice and building strong relationships with clients

  • Supporting the wider tax team on ad hoc advisory projects

  • Conducting technical research and staying up to date on relevant legislation

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

  • 3-4 years of relevant experience in personal tax/trusts

  • Experience preparing tax returns and working with high-net-worth clients or estates

  • Excellent attention to detail and time management

  • Strong interpersonal skills and a client-focused attitude

  • Good IT skills including tax software, Excel and Microsoft Office

  • ATT or STEP qualified or studying (ACA/ACCA with desire to specialise in private client tax also considered)

Study support towards CTA is available for the right candidate.
