We are seeking an experienced and motivated Temporary Senior Chef to join our restaurant and events establishment, known for delivering high-quality dining experiences and exceptional service. This is an exciting opportunity to step into a key leadership role, producing outstanding dishes from carefully sourced, seasonal ingredients.

The Role

• Lead, manage, and inspire an established kitchen team.
• Oversee daily service and event catering, ensuring smooth operations and consistent quality.
• Develop and deliver exceptional menus using fresh, quality ingredients.
• Train, mentor, and direct the team to maintain high culinary standards.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and allergen management.

The Ideal Candidate

• Proven experience as a Senior Chef, Sous Chef, or Head Chef in a quality restaurant, events venue, or hospitality environment.
• Strong leadership, organisation, and communication skills.
• Passion for fresh, seasonal ingredients and delivering excellent food.
• Ability to manage pressure during busy service and large events.
• Flexible and adaptable, with a hands-on approach.

You will be expected to work on various sections of the kitchen and help to ensure the high standards and procedures already set in place are kept to a high standard.

You'll be making culinary masterpieces, contributing to a high-paced kitchen environment, be able to adapt quickly to various kitchen settings and cuisines.

Candidates must have relevant catering qualifications and a proven track record in similar establishments. You must be able to provide 2 recent references. The ability to drive would be an advantage but is not essential.

Chefs should have their own whites, knives and safety shoes.
