My client located in Liverpool City centre are currently seeking a Solicitor with experience of Housing Disrepair to join their team therefore HDR experience is essential for this role.

  • You need to be able to undertake initial screening of enquiries.
  • You will be responsible for instructing experts and be able to interpret and value evidence provided by surveyors.
  • You will have an understanding of housing disrepair, and associated legislation together with the litigation process.
  • You will be experienced in following the Housing Disrepair Pre Action Protocol.
  • Experience of the Pro-Claim case management system would be an advantage.

Main duties and responsibilities:-

We are looking for a diligent, confident, self-motivated and experienced Solicitor for our Housing Disrepair Department.

You will be responsible for handling a case load of housing disrepair claims from inception to settlement, therefore, HDR experience is essential.

Requirements :-

  • Excellent knowledge of CPR and Housing Case Law
  • Litigation experience
  • Time management and organisation skills
  • Ability to work to deadlines/targets
  • Ability to prioritise case loads
  • Excellent client care
