The role

As you will know firsthand, mortgaging or remortgaging a property can be a daunting experience for first-time and experienced buyers alike. Getting the right deal is a crucial factor in putting home buyers’ and homeowners’ minds at ease. Luckily for them, that’s exactly where you come in. From starter homes to investment properties, you’ll be there on the end of the phone with the kind of advice that makes property dreams come true.


Alongside this you’ll support them with their Protection needs; always important but arguably especially when purchasing a home, uncertain times call for certain measures and for our customers, that will come in the form of protecting the things that matter most: their homes, families and lifestyles.


When talking to our customers, you’ll use your empathic ear to really listen to their concerns so that you can deliver the right kind of service and reach suitable outcomes to work with their needs.


Being an Adviser to clients during this ongoing period of uncertainty is not only about offering L&C customers a sense of reassurance, but also about having a role that offers you a steady career path with clear progression. There will be administrative work along the way, but ultimately we work as a team to get results and provide the best service to our clients.


As L&C is regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), compliance is an important part of this role. You need to ensure you deliver advice within strictly defined regulatory rules and guidance, as well as adhering to the internal quality standards L&C has put in place. What’s important is that you deliver that perfect balance of outstanding customer care, regulatory adherence, and impressive workload efficiency to exceed your performance targets and KPIs. That will be achieved through eagle-eyed attention to detail, a warm and friendly approach that builds rapport and trust, and really understanding each customer’s needs.






About you

Our customer service standard is paramount, and as an experienced and qualified Advisor you’ll need to apply your industry knowledge and output a sense of empathy that customers can really pick up when they talk to you. You’ll have had good experience within the market. Now you’re looking to accelerate your potential working for a market leader who can help you achieve your personal and professional goals.



We’re looking for people who can really connect with customers while following the FCA guidelines and internal procedures that keep us in line with our industry’s regulatory framework. That’s why you’ll be an active listener who acknowledges and repeats what you’re hearing so that each customer knows they’ve been understood. You’ll lay out all the options they need quickly and simply so that they can make informed decisions.
