Description
- Lead and manage the Accounting & Finance department.
- Develop and implement effective financial strategies, controls, and processes.
- Manage budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Ensure compliance with statutory law and financial regulations.
- Produce accurate financial reports for management and stakeholders.
- Conduct analysis to make forecasts and report to upper executives.
- Ensure all accounting activities and internal audits comply with financial regulations.
- Optimise financial operations for the Liverpool and London office and global operations.
Profile
A successful Finance Manager should have:
- A degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
- Studying towards a professional qualification such as CIMA/ACCA
- Proven experience as a Finance Manager within the transport and distribution industry.
- Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting models.
- Strong leadership and organisational skills.
