The School and Role

Vision for Education are recruiting Core Subject Tutor to work in our Secondary Schools on a supply basis. The desired candidate will have the ability to provide additional support to KS3-4 level children on Maths, Science and English. This role will start in September 2024, and the successful candidate must have experience of tutoring up to KS4. We are in partnership with many established and popular Secondary Schools in the Liverpool area. The schools we work with are friendly and welcoming to new staff, with successful staff being asked back on a regular basis. There is on-site parking or local transport amenities for most sites.

Requirements

The desired Tutor will;

  • Have a minimum of 5 days experience working with children aged 11-16

  • Have strong communication skills with the ability to quickly build a good rapport with students and staff

  • A passion for working with children, in a calm and authoritative manner

  • Have, or be prepared to undergo an Enhanced DBS Check that is on the Update Service
