Telesales Manager

Lloyd Recruitment Services are recruiting on behalf of a market leading financial services client that are keen to recruit a dynamic and results-driven Telesales Manager to lead their telesales team to achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in telesales, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record of successfully managing and motivating a team to exceed sales goals.

This is a fully office based position in the heart of Liverpool's Business Quarter.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead, motivate, and coach a team of telesales representatives to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth and expand the customer base.
  • Set sales targets and performance metrics for the team and monitor performance against these targets.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to team members to support their professional development.
  • Identify training needs and provide ongoing training and support to enhance the skills and performance of the team.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and development.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare regular reports on sales performance, forecasts, and other key metrics for management review.
  • Foster a positive and supportive work environment that encourages teamwork, creativity, and continuous improvement.

Applicant requirements:

  • Proven experience in telesales, with a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Previous experience in the financial services arena or similarly regulated industry beneficial, but by no means essential.
  • Experience with outbound sales techniques, including cold calling and prospecting.
  • Previous experience in a leadership or managerial role, with strong leadership and coaching skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish relationships with customers and team members.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify opportunities for improvement and implement effective solutions.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on driving performance and delivering results.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
  • Knowledge of sales techniques and strategies.
  • Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and business priorities.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
