Your new firmA Liverpool based Accountancy firm is seeking experienced Payroll Manager to join their experienced team. You will be joining a well-renowned accountancy practice that has had a strong presence in the northwest for over 6 years. The specialise predominately in Tax, audit, accounts, assurance, transaction services and payroll. With plans to extend their success and their constant internal growth means it's an exciting opportunity to join a firm that offers great training and progression schemes in the heart of Liverpool.

Your new roleAs Payroll Manager, you will ensure the accurate and timely payroll production for various clients. You will manage your own client portfolio and you will be responsible for end to end payroll processing. You will manager one other member of staff, reviewing payrolls processed and assist with training and development too. This firm require an experienced manager who can manage the department and oversee all technical and legislative processes.

What you'll need to succeedThe ideal candidate for this role will have previous experience within an accountancy practice and will ideally be CIPP qualified. You will need a strong knowledge of statutory and legislative regulations, including workplace pensions, and proven experience in MS Office, in particular Excel. You will also need excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be able to communicate with clients at all levels.
