We are working with a one of Liverpool's largest employers, an organisation of international repute with a unique user base of over 30,000. They are looking to engage a Technical Project Manager as they embark on a major strategic programme, geared toward migrating their core finance system to SaaS, during 2024/5.
Our client is looking to engage an experienced Technical Project Manager who has worked on similar cloud migration project. Experience with finance systems would be highly desirable but demonstrable experience of similar transactionally heavy systems would be acceptable (e.g. HR, Payroll, CRM, IDAM, Patient Records, etc)
This will be for a 2 year fixed term contract. Experience of managing and delivering this type and scale of project will be key. You will ideally have knowledge and understanding of financial systems specifically, along with the underlying technologies.
The current on-premise system includes extensive customisations to / integration with the baseline product, and will therefore require careful change management and related technical delivery to ensure service levels can be maintained successfully and desired benefits realised.
The technical delivery of the migration will be made in close partnership with functional SMEs, a 3rd party consultancy and the assistance of another internal team.
In addition to the salary on offer there are some fantastic benefits which include a pension contribution of more than 20% and a total leave entitlement of over 40 days per year.
The organisation operate a hybrid working model, with two days a week on site in Liverpool and the rest from home.
