A leading manufacturing company based in Merseyside are looking for a Production Planner to join their team. As Production Planner you will be responsible for executing efficient and achievable plans to production, working in a fast paced business with an excellent reputation within their field.
About the role:
- Use MRP to produce sequenced daily/weekly production plan.
- Consider factors such as capacity, material availability and line efficiency.
- Ensure customer requirements are achieved whilst balancing site capabilities.
- Identify supply chain risk and escalate when required.
- Create, defer or cancel production schedules as required.
- Produce medium term manufacturing plans.
About the person:
- Previous experience within a production planning role from within a manufacturing environment.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills.
- Strong MRP experience.
