Our client, a well-known and market-leading building services company, is currently recruiting for a Mechanical Project Manager to join their Mechanical projects team. The Mechanical Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing mechanical PPM and projects from beginning to end, ensuring projects remain within set time scales and budgets.

Responsibilities for the Mechanical Project Manager

  • Site survey of potential M&E Projects, including layout design, quotation, and Client liaison.
  • Management of day-to-day project delivery within a geographical area, including delivery to client requirements, safety, quality, street works, supplier performance and improvement.
  • Overall responsibility for all site works, methodology and programme.
  • Communicate closely and provide timely and accurate periodical reports to Senior Project Manager defining project progress, problems, and solutions.

Key Skills & Experience for the Mechanical Project Manager

Essential

  • Have strong planning, organisation, and monitoring abilities
  • Building Services qualification (HNC desired) and IOSH or NEBOSH
  • Previous experience of management on M&E Projects
  • Full UK Driving License
  • Strong written and spoken communication skills
