Are you passionate about nurturing young minds and shaping the future generation? We're seeking a dedicated ECT to join our team starting in September. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic educator who is committed to fostering a positive learning environment and supporting the holistic development of children aged 5 - 11 years old.

Position: ECT - Primary

Start Date: September 2024

Duration: Long-term, Full-time

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and developmentally appropriate lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
  • Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes active learning and encourages children to reach their full potential.
  • Assess and monitor students' progress, providing feedback to students and parents/guardians as necessary.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum plans and educational activities that cater to the diverse needs of young learners.
  • Foster positive relationships with students, parents/guardians, and colleagues, maintaining open communication channels to support the overall well-being and academic success of each child.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field (PGCE/QTS preferred).
  • Relevant experience working with early years or primary-aged children.
  • Sound knowledge of the EYFS framework and a child-centered approach to teaching and learning.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with young children and their families.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and reflective practice.
  • Hold an enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to undertake a new one.
