Job Title: Welding SupervisorLocation: Speke, Liverpool (L24 9WA)Salary: £42,000- £45,000 per annumShifts: Monday- Thursday 07:30- 16:45, Fridays 07:30- 13:30Contract Type: PermanentOur client who are a supplier and distributor are currently seeking a permanent Welding Supervisor to join the expanding team.Reporting to the Operations Manager and working alongside the Production Manager you will manage a team of 7 Welders, ensuring the smooth running of the welding department and making sure figures are hit, lead times are adhered to and able to take the role to the next level of Manager.As a Welding Supervisor, your duties will be: -" Ensuring production figures are hit on a daily/weekly basis." Responsible for making sure equipment and training needs are available for all the Welding team." Making sure products meet the quality standards." Responsible for appraisals." Recording damages and waste." Making sure lead times are adhered to as per the sales team." Managing a team of 7 Welders.The successful Welding Supervisor will have the following skills: -" Must have experience within similar role and competent with MIG, MAG, TIG and Stick." Able to read and interpret drawings." Knowledge of fabrication and pipe fitting would beneficial."
