Role Overview:

Halton is seeking a dedicated and experienced Social Worker to join their Children in Need/Child Protection (CIN/CP) Team. This role offers a competitive hourly rate of £44.04, with the expectation of working full-time hours.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of 18-20 children, providing high-quality social work support.
  • Conduct assessments and create care plans for children and families in need.
  • Undertake edge of care work to support families and prevent the need for children to enter the care system.
  • Collaborate with a supportive team manager and participate in ongoing training focused on systemic practice.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.

Requirements:

SWE Registered

Experience in Children in Need and Child Protection cases.
