Randstad are looking for a Qualified Social Worker to join Sefton Council's Court team. This is a full time role offering an AMAZING pay rate of £35- £45 per hour, DOE.

Responsibilities:

  • Play a pivotal role in ensuring that the best interests of individuals and families are represented during court proceedings.
  • Your commitment to social justice will help achieve positive outcomes for those involved.
  • Conducting assessments, gathering evidence, and preparing reports that inform court decisions.
  • Collaborate closely with legal professionals, including solicitors and barristers, to ensure a comprehensive understanding of each case.
  • You will provide invaluable support to individuals and families, helping them navigate the complex emotions and challenges that arise throughout the legal process.
  • Work alongside a supportive and experienced team, where your skills and insights will be valued.
  • Advocate for the rights, needs, and well-being of individuals and families, ensuring their voices are heard and their perspectives are considered in court proceedings.

Requirements:

  • Social Work Degree or equivalent
  • Social Work England Registration
  • Enhanced DBS
  • 4 + years of post qualifying experience within a Children's team
