We are now looking for a C# .NET Developer to join their busy, growing, and successful team.

C#.NET Developer

Hybrid working from home with approx. 2-3 days per week in Runcorn.

£35-45K plus excellent benefits package.

You must be a British Citizen or hold an ILR to apply for this role.

To be successful in this role:

You will be a confident C# .NET Developer with the ability to make an immediate impact on a cloud-based SaaS product. You will have 3+ years of experience with C# (.NET Core/.NET Framework / ASP.NET) and strong experience with relational databases (MSSQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.). Other requirements for this role include:

Experience with cloud computing (AWS / Azure)

Experience with Docker (containerisation)

Experience with software development processes (scrum / agile / sprints / stand-ups)

Basic IT skills (can independently troubleshoot laptop issues, connect to VPNs, etc)

Should live in the Manchester / Liverpool / Chester / Lancashire region and be able to commute to Runcorn for 2 days on average per week

Must be comfortable in a working from home environment

Other desirable but not essential requirements for this role include:

Experience with React / JavaScript

Experience with WPF (Windows Presentation Foundation) and UI architectural patterns (e.g. MVVM)

Experience with of CI / CD processes (Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment, TeamCity, Jenkins)

Experience communicating with customers or non-technical colleagues i.e. can comfortably translate non-technical to technical and vice versa

Interest in tech news

Job role and responsibilities:

As a C# .NET Developer, you will join a cloud development team of 7 people and collaborate with Windows Application, Infrastructure, and Client-Facing teams on solutions where the technology overlaps. Other responsibilities for this working from home role include:

Develop and maintain internal cloud infrastructure

Create and update structured documentation on cloud product

Collaboratively design, write, and review code

Demonstrate a high standard of programming

Troubleshoot and fix software bugs reported by users

Manage the deployment of cloud products through our CI/CD process

Communicate with our automation teams to gather requirements for developments

Support client-side technical teams with product deployment

Contribute to stand-ups and sprints

Mentor junior developers in best practices

Stay updated with emerging technologies and contribute these ideas to internal R&D
