Reed Accountancy are proud to be working with a company in Liversedge who are recruiting an Accounts Assistant to join their small and friendly team. This is a full-time and permanent position working 9am-5pm Monday to Friday with 1 hour’s lunch (35 hours per week).Salary: Up to £25K (depending on experience)
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Purchase Ledger: input purchase invoices, purchase ledger payments, close off purchase ledger
- Sales Ledger: send invoices and statements, S/L close off and invoicing
- Process BACS payments
- Deal with customer/supplier account queries
- Create, prepare, and reconcile suppler monthly payment runs/statements
- Maintain customer/supplier accounts
- Provide support for the accounts team in relation to customer account payments
- Process new supplier credit applications and set up new supplier accounts
- Additional ad hoc admin duties
You will need to demonstrate:
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Great time management and organisational skills
- High degree of confidentiality
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Opera experience (desirable)
