Service Care Solutions is seeking a diligent Cleansing Operative for our client in Llandudno. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of public areas. This role is ideal for someone with a strong work ethic and a commitment to community cleanliness.
Key Responsibilities:
- General Cleanliness: Maintain the cleanliness of designated areas through mechanical and hand sweeping, and litter collection using a handcart.
- Bin Management: Empty litter and dog waste bins regularly.
- Fly Tipping Collection: Collect and dispose of illegally dumped waste.
- Community Reporting: Observe and report any community needs, defects, or damages, including the condition of street nameplates, signs, road gullies, seats, and bins.
- Tool and Machinery Operation: Use a range of tools and machinery to perform daily tasks effectively.
- Street Furniture Maintenance: Conduct maintenance operations on open spaces street furniture.
- Sandbag Distribution: Distribute and remove sandbags during inclement weather conditions.
- Vehicle Responsibility: Drive and maintain any allocated vehicle.
Requirements:
- Experience: Previous experience in street cleansing operations.
- Initiative: Ability to work independently and manage tasks without constant supervision.
- Manual Handling: Proficient in manual handling operations.
- Driving License: Must possess a full UK driving license.
- Time Management: Excellent time management skills to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
Working Hours:
- 7:00am - 3:00pm
