As part of our ongoing commitment to operational efficiency and excellence, they're embarking on a project to implement the Unit 4 ERP system. To support this initiative, we are seeking a skilled Financial Accountant with expertise in Unit 4 ERP to join their already established finance team on a fixed-term basis.Key Responsibilities:

Work closely with the Head of Financial Accounts and other key stakeholders to understand the requirements and objectives of the Unit 4 ERP implementation project.
Utilise expertise in Unit 4 ERP to assist in the configuration, customization, and implementation of the system to meet the financial accounting needs of the organisation.
Work within the Financial Accounting team to produce monthly accounts and assist with consolidation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, finance, and operations to ensure alignment of business processes with the capabilities of the Unit 4 ERP system.
Provide training and support to finance team members on the use of Unit 4 ERP, ensuring a smooth transition to the new system.
Assist in the development and documentation of financial accounting policies, procedures, and controls within the Unit 4 ERP system.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial processes and systems, leveraging the capabilities of Unit 4 ERP to drive efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications and Experience:

Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) with significant experience in financial accounting roles.
Proven experience working with Unit 4 ERP, including configuration, implementation, and support.
Strong understanding of financial accounting principles and practices, with the ability to translate business requirements into system solutions.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues and identify solutions in a timely manner.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Experience leading projects or initiatives within a finance or ERP environment is desirable.
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
