Job Title - Financial Controller
Salary - up to 70k
Location - North East London
Hybrid - 1 day per week in office / 4 days from home
Edward Mann are currently recruiting for a Financial Controller on behalf of a leading International Tech Business located in North East London working 1 day per week in the office.
This is a very commercial position, acting as the key finance figure within the senior leadership team. Providing business partnering across the wider business, with a key focus on adding value and providing detailed commercial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Partner to Senior Leadership Team (and be a part of the SLT), support on developing pro-active business plans, detailed KPI analysis and monthly reports with insight and improvement suggestions
- Oversee a small finance team of 2 people
- Production of group monthly management accounts
- Production of group annual statutory accounts
- Review of Balance Sheet & P&L with commentary
- Provide financial support on all new bid submissions - including financial modelling / scenario planning etc.
- Lead of budgeting & forecasting processes
- Prepare and review Financial Models for new bid submissions
- Revenue recognition
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Play a key part in the implementation of new finance systems, championing automation and driving process improvements
Desirables
- Qualified Accountant (CIMA / ACCA / ACA or equivalent), candidates who are not qualified may also be considered
- Previous experience in a Tech / R&D related environment would be desirable
- Exposure to IFRS15 Revenue Recognition would be desirable
