We are working with a well-established firm of Chartered Accountants based in the City of London who are seeking to recruit an additional Financial Planner to join their wealth advisory team. Their team includes chartered accountants, tax specialists, and financial advisors who pride themselves on understanding clients' unique needs and delivering tailored solutions. Job Description:

Du to continued growth in a tough market, my client is currently expanding its financial planning team. Despite being a relatively new division within the company, they have already achieved notable success. Now, they are seeking a dedicated Financial Planner to join the team and play a key role in their continued growth over the next 2 to 3 years.

As a Financial Planner you will collaborate closely with in-house Accountants and other professionals to foster and grow client relationships. Your primary objective will be to develop a significant book of clients in the coming years. This is an excellent opportunity for a Financial Planner, ideally with an existing client base that can be transitioned over the next 12 months. Alternatively, if you have a robust professional network within the financial sector, you can leverage it while also developing in-house leads.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cultivate and nurture strong client relationships, with a focus on providing top-notch financial planning services.
  • Work collaboratively with in-house Accountants and professionals to identify opportunities for financial planning services.
  • Develop and implement customized financial plans tailored to each client's unique objectives and requirements.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes to offer the best possible financial advice.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets and performance metrics.

Qualifications:

  • Proven track record as a successful Financial Planner.
  • An existing book of clients that can be gradually transferred or a substantial professional network.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and address clients' financial needs.
  • Relevant financial planning certifications and licenses.

Compensation:

The salary for this position is competitive and flexible, with a target of 3 times validation (with flexibility in the first year). Additionally, a 33% bonus structure will be in place, including both new business and trail commissions.
