Working in the Fund Finance team, as the Finance and Data Associate, you will work on both the financial and data aspects of the PE funds focusing on the financial control and analysis. London based. Permanent. Hybrid working (3 days office).

Description

Based within the Funds Finance team, you role will be a mix of Finance & Data responsibilities and include:

  • Analysis and reporting of Portfolio and Investors performances of the investment vehicles
  • Preparation of quarterly valuations of funds to be reported
  • Provision of quarterly performance indicators
  • Reporting to investors through multiple channels based on finalised valuations.
  • Monitoring and control of fund cash flows both at Investor and Portfolio level
  • Control and review of accounting and quarterly financial statements of the funds
  • Liaising with external fund administrators and fund accountants
  • Responsibility for debt and interest payments and various reporting to debt providers.
  • Legal and regulatory watch (AIFMD, regulatory body: FCA, CSSF, SEC... )

In addition, whilst the Finance responsibilities will remain the main focus, you will also utilise your strong data manipulation and coding skills in order to:

  • Enhance and maintain existing workstreams and propose new solutions
  • Use current IT resources including Power BI and Business Objects to their full extent
  • Contribute and propose internal projects to continually improve processes
  • Work in a collaboration with other stakeholders with similar responsibilities in other departments/ offices

Profile

  • Financial statement analysis / valuation techniques
  • Ability to organise and perform work efficiently with accountability
  • Strong academic background - Master Degree in Finance, Business, Accounting or related
  • Previous exposure to financial services - Private Equity is desirable
  • Strong interpersonal skills, excellent relationship builder
  • Able to work in a fast paced environment, meet multiple deadlines
  • Analytical mindset and approach
  • Proficient in suit of MS packages including PowerBI
  • Visual Basic a plus
