Description
- Prepare and manage financial reports, including monthly and annual accounts.
- Support budgeting and financial forecasting processes.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
- Perform cost management and profitability analysis.
- Coordinate with external auditors and manage internal controls.
- Assist in the preparation of statutory accounts.
- Collaborate with the accounting team on financial projects.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the finance department.
Profile
A successful Group Accountant should have:
- A recognised accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Have worked as a Group Accountant within a large organisation.
