Group Consolidations Accountant, Engineering/Consulting, Central London, £85-95,000 We have a new role on with an international business who are looking for a Group Consolidations Accountant to join their London office. They are an engineering/infrastructure/consultancy group with revenues nearing £500m globally, this is a very technical role, reporting directly to the FD where you’ll be responsible for group consolidations/compliance/financial statements/lead on audit. Responsibilities

Support in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements of our subsidiaries in Germany and abroad in accordance with national and international accounting standards
Preparation of the consolidated financial statements in the consolidation tool including the implementation of all consolidation steps
Ensuring compliance with accounting regulations and compliance requirements
Participation in various special projects, including M+A transactions, post-merger integrations, ERP landscape optimisation projects and other digitalisation projects

Profile

Professional qualification in accounting (ACA/ACCA)
Group Consolidations experience is essential
3-5 + years of professional experience in group accounting
Strong knowledge of international accounting standards (IFRS / US GAAP)
Very good knowledge of German (desirable) and English
