Management Accountant | London - Hybrid | Permanent | up to £50,000 + Benefits

For a global performing arts charity focusing on exams and assessments, teacher development and publications, we are recruiting a Management Accountant. Focusing on central cost areas such as IT, HR, and Marketing, the Management Accountant will partner with budget holders to help them make sense of information for decision-making by analysing and reporting on financial performance. This role will produce timely monthly management accounts, accruals, prepayments, reforecasts, and cost reports, and will support new project proposals, and investment appraisals via ad hoc analysis.

What you'll be doing:

  • Producing management information, monthly financial reports and KPIs for a number of departments to include prepayments, accruals, and control account reconciliations
  • Producing forecasts, and annual budgets for cost centres
  • Analysing results, forecasts, and annual budgets - producing commentary on key trends
  • Ad hoc analysis to support departmental decision making
  • Meeting with budget holders on a regular basis to ensure they understand how their financial performance will impact their decision making
  • Salary and headcount forecasting, budgeting, and monitoring
  • Supporting investment appraisals and owning ROI analysis for a number of new initiatives

What you'll offer:

  • Part-qualified, finalist or qualified CCAB accountant
  • Experience of producing management accounts, budgets, and forecasts
  • Experience of using financial analysis to support business decisions
  • Experience of interpreting financial reports and writing commentary
  • Strong experience of complex spreadsheet modelling and advanced excel use
  • Ideally experience of Unit 4 Agresso
