Part Qualified Management Accountant Up to £35,000 p.a. depending on experience, and exams passed. Division Finance & Commercial Location Hybrid - 2 days a week in UxbridgeButler Rose is excited to be working on an incredible Management Accounting opportunity with a highly reputable, business who operate on an international scale. From their hyper-modern offices in Uxbridge, you be joining an experienced commercial finance team working on group accounts, whist acting as a conduit between the organisations core stakeholders through the broadcast of financial position, and promotion of governance & control across 9 international entities. The role would suit an experienced Management / General Ledger Accountant looking to further their knowledge and exposure in the international accounting arena. Core duties include:

  • Full Management Accounts and General Ledger Duties to include:
  • Support the recording, reconciliation and analysis of accounting activities and period end close activities in accordance with agreed close schedules and timetables.
  • Creation of all month-end journals, accruals, prepayments, and depreciation.
  • Completion of the monthly financial close in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Perform reconciliations of various key control data including GL balances and supporting schedules including but not limited to accruals, provisions, prepayments, and inventory.
  • Ensure that the accounts on the balance sheet are reconciled each month, ensuring accuracy and a proactive approach to error resolution
  • Provide Insight into results during period end close to the FP&A and Business Partner teams, relating to the key cost drivers.
  • Working across the wider finance team to document, align and improve processes, to drive efficiency and consistency.
  • Supporting in the development of commentary and budgetary variance analysis for multiple international entities.

To be successful in the role, you'll need to come ready and equipped with skills to pay the bills:

  • Part Qualified ACCA / CIMA and actively studying
  • Ability to effectively prioritise multiple projects to meet deadlines and produce high-quality work in a fast?paced environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with leadership, key stakeholders, and employees.
  • A good team player but also takes ownership to complete tasks independently.
  • Clear communication and presentation skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of financial statements.
  • Demonstrate thorough knowledge of accounting principles, systems, and procedures.
