My client is a leading transport company based in Stratford, London. This is a hybrid working role.

Description

As the Senior Financial Accountant you will be responsible for the following:

• Lead on preparing technical accounting papers for internal and external stakeholders
• Ensure the company are applying accounting standards correctly and consistently under IFRS
• Lead on the statutory accounts preparation process
• Develop a clear process for the company to research and resolve technical accounting issues
• Key contact for the statutory audit and corporation tax submission processes
• Provide guidance to finance team on current and emerging technical accounting issues
• Gain a clear understanding of the technical requirements
• Cover for Financial Controller as and when required

Profile

To be considered for this Senior Financial Accountant role you must have:

• ACA Qualified
• Excellent technical accounting knowledge
• Trained in audit, Assistant Manager grade desirable
• Excellent stakeholder management skills

Job Offer

• £65,000 - £70,000
• 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
