Legal Accounts Assistant Job
An award-winning specialist law firm based in the city, has an exciting Accounts Assistant vacancy in their accounts team. This role will report directly into the Finance Manager and will work in a friendly and supportive team of three.
As an Accounts Assistant your core duties will include:
- Full responsibility for the purchase ledger function
- Preparing payment runs and liaising with suppliers
- Reconciling three bank accounts and credit card accounts
- Preparing and submitting VAT returns
- Credit control and aged debt reporting
- Preparing accurate reports within tight deadlines
- Resolving internal and external queries
- Assisting the Finance Manager with adhoc tasks
To be considered for this role you will have experience in the above duties and ideally have worked within the legal sector. You will have excellent organisational skills, a proactive approach to completing tasks and be confident meeting tight deadlines.
