Assistant Accountant

This is an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Accountant to join a rapidly growing Real Estate development business. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Accounts Payable, receivable and general accounting, demonstrating an understand of transactional processes.

Client Details

The client are a rapidly growing real estate and office development business with a UK wide presence and plans to move internationally. Based out of the City of London, they offer some of the most desirable work spaces in the country and are rapidly becoming the most well-known name within the industry.

This is a hybrid role, with 4 days a week based from their office in the City of London.

Description

The Assistant Accountant will be responsible for the following:

• Overseeing daily transactions (e.g. accounts payable/receivable, general ledger and bank reconciliations).
• Assisting FC with Annual Audit
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing
• Cash flow forecasting
• Organising financial data into useable information and maintain updated records.
• Collaborating with the team to ensure accounting procedures are followed.

Profile

A successful Assistant Accountant should have:

• Proven experience managing Accounts Payable and Receivables processes
• Solid knowledge of financial and accounting procedures.
• Previous experience using MS Dynamics - Business Central (Preferred)
• Intermediate Excel skills
• Experience working within a team and individually

Job Offer

The successful Assistant Accountant will receive the competitive salary of £35,000 - £40,000 depending on experience, along with these other benefits:
