Temporary Accounts Assistant £15phr depending on experience.

3 months Temporary assignment - Monday to Friday - Hybrid.

One of my clients, a well-established global Events company based in West London are looking to recruit a Temporary Accounts Payable assistant to start immediately.

Your day-to-day duties will involve:

  • Invoice posting (Manual & PO)
  • Maintaining the group AP inbox
  • Query management with stakeholders internally & externally
  • Inputting payments on a weekly/bi-weekly basis (BACS, CHAPS etc)
  • Payment postings from the cashbook
  • Supplier reconciliations
  • Setting up new suppliers
  • Expenses & credit card postings
  • Assistance with Month end/Year end/Audit where necessary
  • Any ad hoc requests

Skills required:

  • Experience of working in a high volume, multi-currency accounts payable environment
  • Experience of weekly/bi-weekly payment runs (in bank & postings)
  • Experience processing employee expenses & company credit cards
  • A strong communicator with an eye for detail
  • Confident in dealing with stakeholders at all levels
  • A good knowledge of excel
