Senior Actuary
6 Month Contract

UK Based (Edinburgh/ London/ Birmingham)
Our Life and Pensions client require a Senior Actuary to help support on an exciting project for an initial 6-month contract.
Skills required:
-
- A qualified actuary with demonstrable post-qualification experience in the industry
- Knowledge of the regulatory requirements governing insurance companies
- IFRS 17 Implementation , analysis , review and technical skillset required
- Up to date knowledge of Solvency II requirements, Internal Models and Model Change Applications
- Good understanding of the operation of a with profits life company, sufficient to challenge and understand information provided by the actuarial and finance teams
- Management and team leadership skills
- Excellent communication, planning and organisational skills
- Relationship building across teams and functions up to Board level
- Self-starter with ability to achieve challenging objectives within tight timescales
