Your new companyThe position is for an Executive Support Officer to a senior Director in a prestigious non-ministerial government department. The role is mainly remote and will be a 6-month interim position - and my client is looking for someone with an understanding or experience in government relations. Your new role
- Contributing to the effective delivery of the Agency's response to the handling of specific food, feed and environmental incidents and emergencies.
- Participating in internal and external meetings, providing secretariat when required.
- Managing data, including existing databases, to produce reports and implement proposals.
- Produce consultation documents, enforcement letters etc, and issue the relevant documentation to Northern Ireland stakeholders in line with protocols and timescales, collating the responses.
- Assist in the preparation of Ministerial submissions within the set timescales.
- Upload of Notices on the department's Link platform when required.
- Where appropriate, respond directly to enquiries from stakeholders and other Government Departments within the necessary timescales.
- Liaise with Agency colleagues, local authorities, OGD's and other external stakeholders involved in relevant areas, working collaboratively to gather and disseminate relevant information.
- Participate in internal and external meetings, providing secretariat when required, disseminating information and building appropriate contacts.
- Collate, interpret and analyse data, produce reports, implement proposals and ensure that, where relevant, information is published on the website in a timely and accurate manner.
- Manage existing databases and develop new ones as required in relation to the relevant policy areas.
