Housing Administrator

  • Location: Beeston or London – hybrid working (3 days in the office / 2 days from home)
  • Job Type: Temporary (until start of October)
  • Salary: £13.85 per hour (London), £12.21 per hour (PAYE, Beeston)

We are seeking a Housing Administrator with strong administrative and Excel skills to join a large housing association on a temp basis. This role is crucial as it supports additional administrative duties alongside the team manager.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Monitor and update the social value tracker, an Excel spreadsheet critical for tracking contractor engagements and outcomes.
  • Distribute trackers to contractors and ensure they have proper access and understand the documentation and expectations around social value.
  • Manage content for social media, including writing updates on projects and uploading pictures.
  • Use Canva and other tools to create newsletters and other communication materials.
  • Follow up on project requests, stakeholder engagement, and maintain regular communication with contractors and partners.
  • Update and manage an invoice spreadsheet to track financial requirements.
  • Organise regional social meetings, create agendas, take minutes, and follow up on action items.
  • Maintain and update a social value contact sheet with supplier information.
  • Perform additional administrative tasks as required, ensuring all documents are correctly filed and accessible.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in administrative roles with a strong emphasis on using Excel for data management and reporting.
  • Ability to handle high-pressure situations and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including the use of advanced functions for data analysis and report generation.
  • Experience with Canva or similar graphic design software for creating newsletters and other communication materials.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and comfortable engaging with stakeholders and partners.
