We are currently recruiting a qualified First Aider to join a welcoming and inclusive secondary school in Lambeth. This is a vital role within the school community, responsible for delivering first aid support to students and staff and assisting with general welfare and medical needs throughout the school day.

This full-time, term-time only position is ideal for someone who is calm under pressure, well-organised, and passionate about student wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities:

Providing first aid to students and staff in accordance with school policies and procedures
Maintaining accurate records of incidents and treatments
Managing the medical room and ensuring medical supplies are stocked and up to date
Communicating with parents/carers regarding medical incidents or concerns
Supporting students with ongoing medical conditions and administering medication where necessary
Liaising with external medical services when required

Requirements:

A valid and up-to-date First Aid qualification (e.g. Emergency First Aid at Work, Paediatric First Aid)
Previous experience working with young people or within a school setting is desirable
Excellent communication and record-keeping skills
A calm, compassionate, and professional manner
A valid Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
