We are thrilled to be supporting a leading arts university, based in London, in their search for a permanent Student Data and Management Information Officer. The post holder will be responsible for ensuring effective and high-quality student data collection and reporting student data. They will also assist in the preparation and maintenance of the student academic timetable.
This is a full time role, starting as soon as possible, and will be based on site 3 days per week in central London, and the remainder remote.
The role involves undertaking development of new system processes under the direction of the Student Data and Management Information (SDMI) Manager. As part of this, the post-holder will be expected to have a good understanding of the student database (Tribal - SITS:Vision), in order to help establish robust working practices. This means working closely with the IT team.
Main duties and responsibilities will include:
- To support the production and submission of statutory student data returns to external agencies (e.g. HESA, OfS).
- To create and maintain a range of reports
- To enhance student data quality by ensuring adherence with applicable statutory body standards
- To use specialist knowledge and experience to identify issues and establish areas for service or process improvement.
- To handle queries and take an active approach to problem-solving
In order to be considered for this role, you will need to be familiar with SITS functionality with in-depth knowledge of one or two component areas of SITS Records Systems e.g. CAMS, MAS, SRS, e:Vision, and k nowledge of relevant issues in HE, particularly those relevant to student data and records management.
