Sales Account Manager
1 year fixed-term contract (likely permanent extension)
Salary: £38k + £10k OTE commission and completion bonus
Preferred start date: 1st June 2024
The Role:
We are seeking an experienced B2C advertising sales professional who can build lasting relationships with some of the biggest brands in the industry through their results-driven approach. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering advertising revenue for a leading magazine through display advertising, advertorial features, and other creative executions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Meet and exceed project, personal and team revenue targets
- Prospect for new business and set up presentations with potential advertisers
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations to new and existing direct advertisers and agencies
- Monitor progress and deliver on commercial strategy objectives
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activity to inform your sales approach
- Identify and recommend new commercial opportunities to generate additional revenue
- Ensure exceptional client satisfaction by providing best-in-class service, timely responses, and solutions-oriented communication
Required Skills and Experience:
- Proven track-record of success in a media sales role
- In-depth understanding of the consumer magazine industry
- Previous experience working with brands in the food and drink sector
- Exceptional interpersonal and client relationship skills
- Excellent written and oral communication abilities
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Strategic mindset with the ability to identify growth opportunities
- Creativity to collaborate with teams and deliver outstanding advertising campaigns
Flexible Working:
This role offers a hybrid working model, typically involving 2 days of remote working per week with the remainder spent in the office.
