Part II Architectural Assistant Job in Central London

A Part II Architectural Assistant job is now available with a Central London practice working on the delivery of high-quality residential projects. This is a great opportunity to take on a hands-on role and gain experience across RIBA Stages 3 to 5, with close support from an experienced technical team.

You'll be joining a small, collaborative studio where the focus is on thoughtful detailing and coordinated delivery. Projects include regeneration, refurbishment, and integration of new-build elements.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Support the development of drawing packages from planning to technical stages
  • Assist in preparing construction documents and specifications
  • Contribute to design development across various residential projects
  • Collaborate with team members and external consultants
  • Attend site visits and assist in technical problem-solving
  • Opportunity to develop Principal Designer knowledge (training supported).

Required Skills & Experience

  • Part II qualification with UK-based work experience
  • Knowledge of UK Building Regulations and residential standards
  • Good AutoCAD skills and familiarity with 3D software (Revit highly desirable)
  • A proactive and collaborative approach to project work
  • Ability to manage time and work to deadlines in a small team environment
  • Strong verbal and written English communication skills
  • Interest in developing skills as a Principal Designer is welcomed - the studio will fund training.
