A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Marketing and Communications Manager to join a dynamic retail bank in central London, as they seek a candidate to join their team to elevate their marketing strategy to boost business growth. You will be responsible for supporting business functions through report preparation and data analysis, utilising this to contribute to informed decision-making and strategic planning. You will also have the opportunity to use your creative flair, working to design artwork for campaigns and manage the brand presence in the public through video, audio and other visuals. Please note, fluent Cantonese language skills is essential for this role.

Duties of the Marketing Manager to include:

  • Corporate communications and marketing, including working on the brand design, copywriting, editing content, media management, E-channel content management, event organisation and stakeholder communication.
  • Strategy: working to draft business plants and creating PowerPoints for General Manager meetings
  • Management papers: drafting proposals for Head office (including project expenditure, headcount etc), and preparing the presentation and annual reply letter to the regulatory body
  • Business Development committee: Attending meetings to report marketing-related matters for review and approval. Responsible for carrying out all agreed actions.
  • Community engagement: Acting as the point of contact for the international community, organising events for the broader community and sponsorship and donation screening and management.
  • ESG Initiatives: Producing and providing ESG education materials for customers, and producing minutes and writeups for the ESG Task Force

Requirements for the successful Marketing Manager to include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • Fluent English and Cantonese language skills is essential
  • Local UK experience is highly desirable
  • At least 5 years’ experience working in marketing functions within regulated industries
  • Knowledge of UK Banking practice and relevant regulatory experience. Previous experience working within banking highly desirable
