A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated Waiter/ess to join the Berkeley Bar & Terrace team at The Berkeley.

Rooms are furnished by leading designers, and London’s original fashionista afternoon tea ‘Prêt-à-Portea’ is served daily in the Collins Room. Its signature experiences include the famed Berkeley Bar & Terrace, The Berkeley Bar & Terrace, Michelin-starred dining in ‘Marcus’ by Marcus Wareing and our Bamford Health Club & Spa.

As a Waiter/ess you will be providing an excellent level of customer service in a professional and efficient manner in line with the department standards.

Main responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:

  • Greet and make feel welcome all the guests walking in to the bar.
  • Creating memorable experiences for our guests, simultaneously ensuring that service is prompt and professional.
  • Be fully conversant with all Bar menus and special offers, ensuring efficient communication is maintained at all times.
  • Uphold and maintain standards at all times in line with the department standard of procedures.
  • Ensuring that licensing laws, health and safety legislation is adhered to.
  • Contribute in maintaining an excellent level of service in conjunction with the minimum requirement of the LQA standards at all times.

Successful candidates for the Waiter/ess opportunity will demonstrate genuine dedication to The Berkeley and show a commitment to consistent quality in our product and service.
