Head Barista

I'm currently recruiting for a positive and dynamic Head Barista, experienced in Pour Over Coffee. Our client is a coffee shop dedicated to providing top-notch pour over coffees alongside a delightful assortment of pastries and espresso-based beverages.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement the coffee program, focusing on pour over coffee excellence.
• Prepare and serve coffee beverages with consistency and excellence.
• Advocate for sustainability practices within the coffee program.
• Conduct training sessions to enhance team members' coffee knowledge and customer service skills.
• Maintain coffee equipment and manage inventory levels.

Requirements:

• Extensive barista experience with a focus on pour over coffee.
• Strong knowledge of coffee beans, brewing techniques, and espresso machine operations.
• Ability to lead the development of a coffee program.
• Passion for sustainability and responsible sourcing practices.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Proficiency in inventory management.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
