The experienced candidate will play a vital role in supporting on maintaining the ledgers and various transnational duties.

The experienced candidate will play a vital role in supporting on maintaining the ledgers and various transnational duties and should also hold experience within the Insurance sector.

Description

  • Manage the accounts payable function in compliance with financial policies and procedures.
  • Process invoices, reconcile invoices received and purchase orders.
  • Set up new supplier accounts and maintain existing account details within the purchase ledger.
  • Monthly reconciliation of supplier statements.
  • Assist in the preparation of purchase summaries.
  • Process business expense returns.
  • Cashbook and petty cash cheque processing.
  • Undertake ad-hoc projects as required to assist the Accounting & Finance team.

Profile

A successful Accounts Payable Clerk should have:

  • Proficient understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounts payable payable duties.
  • Must have obtained experience within the insurance industry.
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Competency in MS Office, databases and accounting software.
  • Will be immediately available to start the role or on a reduced notice period.
