What will this role include?

  • Achieve and surpass targets for selling advertising space within the magazine
  • Seek new business opportunities and arrange presentations for potential advertisers
  • Create and deliver sales pitches to new and existing advertisers and agencies
  • Track progress and meet commercial strategy goals
  • Stay informed about industry trends and competitors to enhance sales strategies
  • Recommend new revenue-generating opportunities
  • Provide outstanding client satisfaction through excellent service and communication

The ideal candidate will have/ be:

  • Previous media sales experience and a proven track-record of delivering success
  • An in-depth understanding of consumer magazines
  • Previous experience of working with food and drinks brands is desirable
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills for building and maintaining client relationships
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational abilities
  • Strategic thinking for identifying growth opportunities and crafting effective sales strategies
  • Creative thinking and collaboration with creative teams for exceptional advertising campaigns
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
