BI Manager | Business Intelligence Manager | Data Manager

The role can be home based with occasional travel to the London office.

My global client is looking to recruit an experience BI manager, the role will be a varied role which will require experience within BI (Azure, Powerbi) and experience managing a BI focused team.

The role

Manage engagement, planning and delivery of a portfolio of Agile BI services including BI Roadmap definition, prioritisation, development, testing, deployment and adoption.

This position provides leadership in:

Identifying, analysing and defining BI requirements and solutions.
Design, development, adoption and regular production of BI reporting solutions.
Value adding BI service delivery including Planning and Data Science.
To meet operational challenges and transformation opportunities through effective engagement with business leaders and colleagues within the BI team.

What the role will entail:

Business Partnering

Create effective stakeholder relationships and develop an outstanding customer experience both internally and externally.
Support strategic planning and identification of requirements for current and future BI products and services.
As an SME you will oversee the management of business requirements and translation to a BI project definition through to user acceptance testing and sign off.

BI Delivery

Oversee the Agile delivery for a portfolio of Production, Ad-hoc and Project BI Services supported by a BI Delivery Lead.
Work closely with BI Delivery Leads to meet business requirements and priorities.
Work with data and technical leads to provide effective BI solutions.
Work with BI customers to balance priorities and delivery of BI services within agreed Service Levels.

Skills sought:

5+ years BI experience with 2+ years in management of data, reporting and insight.
Track record delivering strategic BI solutions including cloud migration and integration of new operational systems.
Comprehensive knowledge of BI services and solutions including Azure BI platforms, SQL and a reporting platform such as Power BI.
Excellent collaborator, bringing together teams internally and externally to deliver projects
The ability to clearly articulate complex technical solutions to non-specialist audiences
Experience of creating and giving presentations to a varied group of internal and external stakeholders
