I'm delighted to be recruiting for an outstanding law firm in their search for an experienced senior legal cashier.

The role calls for a legal cashier who can expertly navigate client payments and receipts, excel in the nitty-gritty of residential and commercial completions, and handle online transactions seamlessly. Getting to grips with the Solicitors Accounts Rules, while keeping a tight ship with the firm's internal policies.

The day-to-day will see you posting incoming client funds, masterfully managing the monthly payroll, and diving deep into CCMS reporting and billing. A strong grasp of LAA remittance advice is essential, as is up-to-date knowledge of the LAA Costs Assessment Guidance and Civil Procedures Rules.

You'll be the go-to for Bacs/Chaps transactions and a wizard with both domestic and international electronic payments. Not just a numbers person, you'll be integral in supporting the Accounts team across all cashiering duties and responding to inquiries from our diligent fee earners and supportive staff.

To excel in this role, you should wield at least 10 years of legal finance experience under your belt, coupled with a commanding presence in legal cashiering. While familiarity with Partner for Windows is a plus, it's the confidence in utilising an array of IT solutions - from Outlook and Excel to online banking and practice management software - that will set you apart.

Located in the heart of Camden NW1, this position offers the perfect blend of office buzz and the flexibility of a hybrid work schedule with 2 days in the office and 3 from home.
