A BRAND NEW MODERN NURSERY BASED IN SE1.

Needs a Nursery Chef for Monday to Friday 8 AM to 5 PM
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and ambitious Chef with a real passion for food. Maryams would like an experienced Chef to join our 62-place nursery in Borough.

The ideal candidate must have:
- Has a passion for cooking and Children!
- Has some understanding of environmental health standards
- Shares our passion for encouraging children to eat healthily
- Ability to use initiative
- Has a Level 3 Qualification in Food Safety (or is willing to work towards)
- Work in co-operation and partnership with the Nursery team and parents to encourage a healthy and nutritious diet
- Ensure that budgetary requirements are met
- Having an active role in leading the cookery club sessions with children
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook nutritious meals for children, ensuring adherence to dietary requirements and food safety standards.
- Supervise kitchen staff and manage food production processes to maintain high-quality service.
- Lead and train team members in culinary techniques and kitchen operations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including proper storage of ingredients.
- Collaborate with other staff to create a welcoming dining environment for children.
