Hyatt Regency London Blackfriars is located directly outside Blackfriars station, a few minutes away from Bank and is a short stroll from St. Pauls Cathedral, the Tate Modern and South Bank. The Grade II-listed five-star hotel is steeped in regal history, residing on the former grounds of King Henry VIII's Bridewell Palace. The hotel offers 205 stylish guest rooms and suites, 4 meeting spaces, a restaurant and a signature bar.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Supporting the Head Chef in the day to day running of the restaurant
  • Running shifts in the absence of the head chef
  • Training, coaching, motivating and developing team members
  • Assisting in the recruitment and selection of new team members
  • Ensuring dishes are of a very high standard and in line with company expectations
  • To ensure hygiene and sanitation are strictly observed in line with hotel HACCP manual and that equipment and utensils are handled, maintained and used correctly

About You:

You will have proven experience as a Sous Chef in a hotel or high-volume kitchen. A skilled culinary professional, you bring strong leadership and organisational abilities, along with a commitment to upholding the highest standards of quality, consistency, and presentation.
